Peer Mediation
Training Program

We have provided classes for training plus implementation support for students,
families, and staff at the following LAUSD schools:

  • Vermont Ave Elementary School
  • Norwood Elementary School
  • John Mack Elementary School
  • John Muir Middle School
  • Foshay Learning Center
  • L.B. Weemes Elementary School

Each school’s program is customized to suit the needs of the participants. Please call (213) 346-3271 for more information.

The Peer Mediation Program is made possible in large part by the USC Good Neighbors Campaign, an employee-giving program that supports university-community partnerships. Grants and funding for additional resources and trainings are in the works.

Other Training

We offer periodic mediation training sessions for both experienced and novice mediators.

The conflict resolution and mediation training sessions satisfy the provisons described by the California Dispute Resolutions Act of 1986 to earn a certificate of completion.  Next class date to be determined.
