Post-Dialogue Survey

Before You Go: What Today Moved

Thank you for giving this room your Saturday morning. This takes about four minutes, and it is the last thing we will ask of you today.

Several questions repeat word-for-word from the survey you completed before you arrived. That is deliberate. The distance between your two answers is the clearest evidence we have that this process works — and it is exactly what we will carry into conversations with partners, funders, and the organizations deciding whether to convene dialogues of their own.

The last sections ask what you will do next. That is not a formality. The Harvest Process exists so that what was said at your table becomes what actually gets decided and done.

So We Can Pair Your Two Surveys

This is the only section that asks who you are, and it is the section that makes the whole measurement work.

Please use the same name you used on the pre-dialogue survey. Pairing the two is what lets us show what changed. Your name is never attached to any published result.
Which dialogue theme was your table?
Lets you compare results by table and by facilitator. Print the table number on the tent card.

Where You Are Now

These are the same seven statements you answered this morning, word for word. Answer for how you feel right now. Please do not try to remember what you said before — an honest read of this moment is what we need.

What Shifted

These responses feed directly into the Harvest — the synthesis your table’s conversation becomes.
This is the question that turns 15 tables into one shared agenda. Take the extra minute if you have it.

From Dialogue to Action

This section is the point of the morning. A commitment written down is a commitment we can support you on — and one we can come back to.

It does not need to be large. One conversation you will now have, one person you will call, one thing you will raise with your board.
When will you take that step?
What do you need in order to do it?
Name them and we will make the introduction.
These three sentences are read alongside the table harvest notes. They are where the room’s collective commitment comes from.
May we check in with you in 60 days to ask how it went?
One short email. What you tell us then becomes part of the record of what this dialogue produced.

Carrying This Into Your Own Organization

The most direct way this process grows is when leaders take it home. If a room like this would be useful in your organization, neighborhood, congregation, or coalition, we will help you build it.

Would you be interested in hosting or convening a dialogue like this within your own organization or community?
What would you need to make it happen?
When would you want it to happen?
Would you be interested in being trained as an INVLA dialogue facilitator?

The Next Two Steps

Today was the first stage: Building Trust. Two more are already on the calendar, and a conversation that stops at the table does not change anything.

Empowerment Congress Annual Leadership Summit — January 2027
Would you bring someone with you?
If you have someone in mind, tell us who in the final question and we will send them an invitation directly.

Facilitator feedback is used for learning and to strengthen future training. Strong comments are shared back with facilitators by name — it is one of the few thank-yous a volunteer facilitator receives.

In Your Words

We are making the case for more of these dialogues across Los Angeles. One sentence from you does more than any statistic we can produce.
