Upcoming Event

1965 Voting Rights Act Anniversary, designed to contrast the statutory protection included in the original Voting Rights Act and subsequent extensions with partisan efforts to curtail voting rights, suppress voter participation, alter election administration and challenge election results in jurisdictions with large African American populations. The activity will conclude with an examination of policy proposals aimed at the defense and expansion of voting rights.
