How INVLA's Programs Build on Each Other

Each program does different work. Together, they build a pathway of collaboration: organizations become stronger partners, everyday citizens become leaders, and both become catalysts for the change their communities are working toward.
From Individual Efforts to Collective Impact
We are reconceptualizing how we think about the work that we are doing. And the conclusion is that we want to integrate all of these efforts because our individual efforts have been insufficient.
We must collaborate. We must integrate our efforts and, in the process, produce an ecosystem rooted in a theory of change that moves us from dialogue through civic engagement and voter education, and ultimately toward community transformation—one that is rooted in an ethos of empowerment.
The INVLA Ecosystem
INVLA brings together three integrated pillars:
Days of Dialogue (DoD)
Structured, facilitated conversations that create welcoming spaces to talk across differences, build trust, and stay engaged in difficult conversations.
Empowerment Congress (EC)
Building Civic Leadership - A civic engagement model that helps residents understand how government works and how to influence it, encouraging people to educate, engage, and empower themselves.
Community Voter Education Project (CVEP)
Building Democratic Participation - Nonpartisan voter education and civic literacy work that supports year-round civic engagement and helps build informed voters and stronger communities.
